"Plain black pleated synthetic pants with a contrasting woven material asymmetrically placed around the waist. The polyester allows the piece to breathe while maintaining a certain formal rigidity. In the late '90s, Dirk Bikkembergs developed a habit of adding geometric patterns to some pieces (especially womenswear), enhancing the simplicity of his designs while also emphasizing body lines."
