COMME DES GARÇONS JUNYA WATANABE CREME JACKET WITH RHINESTONES - S/S 2001
A creme colored jacket from Junya Watanabe for Comme des Garçons. A slightly different version than the one on runway - made in a more sheer fabric (seems like nylon?). The one we have is a wool and mohair mix. Rhinestones and pearls integrated into the garments were a whole theme in this collection. Mostly keeping their necklace shape (see photos) ! On this piece, the rhinestones follow the edge of the collar and the center back seam which underlines the outline of the jacket’s pattern.
Fully lined, two flap pockets and a breast pocket.
